What This Privacy Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy describes GolfingMyWay’s use of Personal Information and Anonymous Information that we collect when you use the Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the use of your Personal Information that is collected by third parties that GolfingMyWay does not own or control.

Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following Personal Information that you submit to us voluntarily:

•�� �Our Member registration process to create an Account requires you to provide GolfingMyWay with your first and last name, your date of birth, you e-mail address and password of your choice. If you register as a “Professional” Member with the Services, we may collect additional information from you in connection with your registration, including your address and information required to receive payments from you, such as credit card number or billing address.
•�� �When you provide any additional Personal Information about you for your Network Profile, we will collect any such information. Please remember that (depending on your privacy preferences for your Network Profile) the information about you in your Network Profile can be viewed by other Members of your Network, while Members who are not in your Network, may only be able to view limited information from your Network Profile – please make sure that you use the privacy preferences for your Network Profile that reflect what you want to share with other about you and/or provide information that you feel comfortable sharing with others.
•�� �When you provide Personal Information about you throughout the Services by using features of the Community, for example in connection with testimonials, recommendations, message boards, classifieds, we will collect any information you enter and any such information might be used and displayed to other Members in connection with the respective feature.
•�� �When you contact us by sending us an e-mail or when you use any of our contact forms, we will collect any information that is contained in (and/or attached to) your e-mail, text message, or that you enter into such forms.

Personal Information Collected Via Technology

As you use the Services, certain information may also be collected passively, including your Internet protocol (IP) address and the browser that you use to visit the Website. GolfingMyWay may also store a small text file called a “Cookie” on your computer to store your login information (if any) and your personal preferences for the Services. GolfingMyWay may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them). While you will still be able to use the Services if you disable Cookies in your browser, certain parts of the Services may not function as effectively.

Since the foregoing information may be collected when you are signed into the Services as a Member, this information may be associated by us with Personal Information that we have collected from you.

Clicking on such advertisements will direct you to the website of a third party and the advertiser and/or third party may also use Cookies in connection with these advertisements. This Privacy Policy covers the use of Cookies by GolfingMyWay only and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers. We may receive Personal Information about you from other sources like telephone or fax, or from third parties that provide services for us in connection with the Services. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you via our Services.

One of the ideas behind our Services is that Members of the Services share information with other Members. Therefore, you should assume that any information (including any Personal Information you may choose to provide, but excluding your registration information) that you post in generally available sections of the Services will be shared with other Members of the Services and that any information posted within your Network(s) will be shared with the other Members of such Network(s). Other Members that share the same Network with you will be able to see any additional information about you (including Personal Information) that you store in your Network Profile.

We may also use your Personal Information to provide you with notifications related to your use of the Services, such as electronic newsletters or promotional e-mails, should you request to receive such communications from us.

We may create Anonymous Information records from Personal Information by excluding information (such as your name) that makes the information personally identifiable to you. We may also create Anonymous Information on how you use the Services. We may use this Anonymous Information for internal purposes, such as analyzing usage patterns so that we may enhance our Services, and we also reserve the right to use and disclose any Anonymous Information at our discretion.
Feedback
If you provide feedback to us, we may use and disclose such feedback for any purpose, provided we do not associate such feedback with your Personal Information. In the event GolfingMyWay goes through a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your Personal Information will likely be among the assets transferred. Choices Regarding Personal Information

Unsubscribe instructions will accompany each newsletter or promotional communication you receive from us.

We will send you strictly service-related announcements (such as, but not limited to, notices of any updates to our Services, Terms of Service, or Privacy Policy) when we believe it is necessary to do so. You may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature, but if you do not wish to receive these announcements, you have the option to terminate your Account, which involves termination of the Terms of Service. You understand that any termination of your Account and the Terms of Service involves deletion of your Account information from our live databases and all the information and data stored for such Account in the Services. GolfingMyWay will not have any liability whatsoever to you for any termination of your Account or related deletion of you information or Data.

When we delete information that we have collected from or about you, it will be deleted from our active databases but may remain in our archives.

The Services may contain links to other web Websites that are not owned or controlled by GolfingMyWay and to Partner Communities. The provision of such links is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such web Websites or Partner Communities, or its contents. We have no control over, do not review and are not responsible for the privacy policies of or content displayed on such other web Websites. Please be aware that the terms of our Privacy Policy do not apply to any outside web Websites.

Privacy of Minors

We do not intentionally collect or maintain information in the Services from those Users of the Services who are under 13 years old.

Security and Confidentiality

GolfingMyWay has put in place commercially reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. However, no company, including GolfingMyWay, can fully eliminate security risks associated with Personal Information.
